How is my order processed?
When you submit an order via this portal, it creates an instant Sales Order in our Cin7 Core ERP system. Your business manager @ GrowBIG Commercial will reach out within 2-4 business hours to confirm the order, including any freight or delivery service fees as appropriate.
What happens if I order product(s) that show out of stock?
If you are ordering items that our out of stock, they will appear in our Cin7 Core system as "backordered". Your business manager will reach out to confirm the order and ETA. In any case that an item is Special Ordered, the order is non-cancellabe and non-returnable (NCNR). Lead times can be a matter of a day or three, or several weeks depending on supply chain availability. We encourage our users to choose in-stock items whenever possible, and are happy to facilitate delivery of ALL items in our system as quickly as humanly possible.
How is sales tax calculated?
California CDTFA requires us, as a licensed reseller, to collect and remit Sales and Use tax on purchases made through our company. If your company is outside California, we are not required to collect and remit sales taxes, but your local authorities may require YOU to submit sales and use taxes for purchases made out-of-State. Some States, such as Michigan, largely exempt commercial farming operations from Sales and Use tax.
Note too that within California, sales taxes can be exempted or partially-exempted for certain product types. Our company requires that commercial clients establish and maintain relevant documentation on file. When such documents are submitted and filed with us, you will see a new login for your "(Company Name) F.E." which you can use to purchase fertilizers without tax. Your business manager can also modify orders submitted through this portal to reflect the accurate tax rate on a per-item basis. So, for example, if you have special tax docs on file with us, and are operating within California, you can order whatever you like on the primary login and we will then adjust your sales taxes before invoicing to reflect your special tax rates on a per-item basis.
How is shipping calculated?
There is no shipping fee on orders for In-Store Pickup.
UPS and USPS rates are calculated based on the items dimension and weight.
Regional Delivery services are available throughout the 831, 408, and 805 area codes. We can sometimes deliver beyond that, eg Redding or Palm Springs, but is highly dependent on driver availability and delivery window criticality.
Note that we offer special, low-cost delivery on our regular routes including Moss Landing, Watsonville, Santa Cruz and other locales when we have grouped orders.
Orders shipping via common carriers such as SAIA, Oak Harbor, XPO Freight, TForce, etc will be updated based on actual rates. You will have the option to approve the final order total, or decline. Shipping quotes are generally valid for 6-7 business days, depending on the carrier and also subject to any sudden changes to fuel prices, etc.
Some product orders will qualify for free freight. For example, when ordering Twister or Centurion Pro brands of Trim Machines, those are shipped directly from the manufacturer with free freight. We carry many of the replacement parts in our stores and can set for pickup or delivery (UPS or local). Athena and Advanced Nutrients also allow us to drop-ship with free freight as long as certain Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) are met. Other orders may also qualify for free freight and your GrowBIG business manager can help suggest means to reduce freight expenses on your orders.
